Mysteries Of Judgement Day Explained.🤔🤔[PT7.EP14] Revelation 20:11-15 Commentary.

Let’s get the Mysteries Of Judgement Day Explained in order to draw your attention to certain messages which you probably igonored or assumed to have understood.

We are told in the book of Revelation that on judgement day, the earth will give up their dead, the sea will do the same, as well as hell. But who are the residents of hell? Is hell not supposed be the final destination of the wicked after final judgement? Is it possible to come back from hell and be judged? Who are the residents of hell?

If you have been asking yourself these questions, or you simply just want to understand what is actually happening here, then continue reading to see how we use scriptures to answer these questions above.

JUDGEMENT DAY HIGHLIGHTS

1. Scripture Reference.

In the previous 2 episodes, we discussed much detail about the Gog and Magog event. What follows immediately after, will be Judgment Of The Rest Of The World, according to

Revelation 20:11-15.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

You should definitely create time and read everything because we will not discuss all the scriptures above.

There are some verses I wish to draw your attention to when it comes to the final judgement of the world, which are very prophetic and would require some interpretations.

There are 2 major scriptures concerning the Mysteries Of Judgement Day, I will like to draw your attention to. Let’s check them out.

A FIRSTLY: Who Are The Dead Who Will Be Judged? Revelation 20:12-13.

12 … and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

If you read the two verses above closely, you will realize that 3 different places were identified, that will give up their dead.

A1 The Dead From The Earth.

I believe that this is what verse 12 is all about, though it wasn’t specifically mentioned. I might be wrong, but this explanation does not contradict any Biblical Truths.

To be on the safer side, you can just assume that the dead mentioned in verse 12, was referring to all the dead as a whole. So Don’t worry. If you examine the second source of death, you will be able to understand why I believe verse 12 was talking about the dead on the earth. Check it out in the next point.

A2 The Dead From The Sea.

Specifically mentioned in verse 13. So if the sea is giving up their dead in verse 13, it, therefore, implies that the previous verse was referring to the earth giving its death. So long as this interpretation does not contradict scripture or add any meanings to it, we are fine.

There’s a third source that will deliver its dead, the most mysterious of them all.

A3 The Dead From Hell???

Still mentioned in verse 13, but can you really come back from hell? What does this really mean? What is the hell about? Is hell the same as the lake of fire?

When I read this verse for the first time, nothing made sense. It was only when I stopped for a day, and just meditated over it, and read relevant scriptures, that I had answers to only some of the questions I was asking myself.

This article will not provide an exhaustive explanation of what is really going on here, because I do not yet comprehend the complete mystery of hell myself. But I found some Shocking Truths about hell in scripture I wish to draw your attention to. You will find these Truths fascinating indeed so continue reading.

If you are like me, you are most probably asking yourself some, if not all, of the following questions:

  • How on earth is it possible that dead people will come out of hell and be judged again?
  • Was hell not their final judgment?
  • Is hell not the lake of fire?
  • Does the Bible not teach that once we die, we go to sleep and know nothing, while waiting for the final judgement? So who are those currently in hell, when they should be sleeping?

Well, here are some Biblical facts I discovered about hell. It turns out that hell and lake of fire are two different things, and hopefully the following scriptures will help you discern the difference.

1st Fact:

Did You Know That Some Angels Are Currently In Hell?

2 Peter 2:4
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

Here, we notice some fundmental traits of this hell:

  • -angels of God who sinned are there;
  • -this particular hell is related to darkness, and not fire.
  • -they are being kept there to be judged at the appointed time – on judgement day.

Let’s check out the next scripture.

2nd Fact:

Lucifer Is Sent Down To Hell.

Isaiah 14:13-16. King James Version.
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

The scriptures above are describing the fall of satan, into hell, or the sides of the pit. So here again, hell is linked with the pit, where there’s darkness. And we see that another prominent heavenly figure is being sent there; Lucifer. Read from Isaiah 14:9. to get all the details.

In addition, we notice another important characteristic of hell: it has been related to the bottomless pit.

Let’s examine some more scriptures to see whether this interpretation is consistent.

3rd Fact:

Abaddon/Apollyon, The Leader Of The Locust Army from The Bottomless Pit.

The next scripture concerns the famous 5th Trumpet, where we are told that the bottomless pit will be opened, and locust-like creatures will emerge.

We are also told that these creatures will be led by an angel from the bottomless pit

Revelation 9:11. King James Version.
11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

An angel of the bottomless pit would lead these locusts. Pit of darkness again, and we are given specific detail about the locusts’ leader: an angel. Yet another proof that hell is some sort of prison for the servants who live with God in heaven.

There are more examples to demonstrate the use of hell.

The fourth example concerns the locking of the dragon in the bottomless pit, which is synonymous with hell. Revelation 20:1-3.

So to summarize it all…

These are only some of the facts you should understand about hell:

  • -hell is the bottomless pit of darkness,
  • -it is not the lake of fire,
  • -it is a prison especially for heavenly creatures working with God.

Please remember that I don’t have an exhaustive understanding of hell. My understanding ends with the information I’ve released in this article.

That said, when it’s time for final judgement, the members of this prison will equally be summoned to be judged, except for Lucifer. After the war on Gog and Magog, he will be sent directly to the lake of fire without any judgement. I hope you get the picture.

For the record, when the dragon shall be chained for 1000 years, then the following prophecy we have already seen above, will be fulfilled:

Isaiah 14:16. King James Version.
16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

Remember that the beast and the false prophet will be sent directly to the lake of fire, or second death, after the battle of Armageddon, whereas the dragon will rather be sent down to the dark bottomless pit of hell (prison), in chains, because his mission would not be over yet at that time. And after 1000 years, he will be set loose from this prison, to initiate the Gog and Magog event.

You can check out more details about Armageddon in the article below:

The entire Bible is linked up together indeed.

Now that we have understood the 3 different sources of the dead that will be judged when the 1000 years are over, it’s time to check out the second major scripture you need to understand about the final judgement.

B SECONDLY: Death And Hell Were Cast Into The Lake Of Fire.

Revelation 20:14. King James Version.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

This scripture is also very prophetic and definitely needs some interpretations. But don’t worry, this one is not as mysterious as the previous one.

We are told that when final judgment is over, death and hell will be cast into the lake of fire and destroyed, burned forever. What does it mean? This is what it actually means:

👉We know for a fact that because of our human mortal nature, we all must die someday. But after final judgement, there will be no such thing as death anymore, because death will be taken out of the equation and destroyed in the lake of fire.

In other words, those who make it through the final judgment will become immortal forever.

👉Again, we have already realized that hell, or the bottomless pit, was reserved for the disobedient and sinful ones. So if Jesus is promising to destroy hell in the lake of fire, it means that there will be no more sin after the final judgment.

In other words, those who make it through the final judgement will become sinless forever. It will be all Praises, and merry, and worship, and happiness, joy, peace… for eternity. Those who qualify will live the spiritual life forever.
